What does it mean to be a dancer in one of the dLCompanies?
Being a dancer in one of the dLDance Companies is more than just learning steps… it involves commitment, dedication, and a great passion for dance! What your child will gain from the experience of being a company member is priceless both as a dancer and an individual. There is no limit to what our Company dancers can learn and accomplish!
A performance drill team that is open to dancers 5-17 years old in all ability levels specializing in Jazz, Hip Hop and Acro. Performances inclulde school carnivals, community parades & events, pro sports games, Disneyland, and much more. In addition to several performances these dancers will have the opportunity to experience one competition throughout the season. Dancers will attend 4 hours of class per week.
A Co-Ed Hip Hop Company that is open to dancers 8-17 years old with an intermediate hip hop ability level. Dancers will attend 5-7 competitions, plus conventions, per dance season. Out-of-state competition opportunities will be available. Dancers will attend 4.5 hours per week.
Two levels of all boys hip hop krews will be offered for boys ages 6-9 (beg/int) and ages 10-13 (int/adv). The 6-9 year old krew will perform and attend 2-3 competitions and the 10-13 year old krew will attend 5-7 competitions plus conventions per dance season. All Krew dancers will attend 3.5 hours per week.
A pre-competitive company open to dancers with an intermediate ability looking to develop & elevate the skills necessary to progress to the next level. Dancers will attend 5-7 competitions, plus conventions, per dance season, as well as, local parade and Disneyland performances. Dancers will attend 6.5 hours of class per week plus rehearsals.
A competitive company open to dancers 5-18 years old, with an int/adv ability level. Dancers will attend 5-7 competitions per season plus conventions. Dancers will attend 6-10 hours of class per week (depending on age group) in addition to rehearsals.
